Setup

  1. Select a player to be the Chancellor and distribute roles accordingly.
  2. Shuffle and set up the deck, supply, and board as per the rulebook instructions.
  3. Place Oathkeeper tokens, Secrets, and Favor as specified.

Gameplay

  • Chancellor's Turn:

    1. Draw cards: Add cards to your cohort from the World deck.
    2. Actions: Perform up to three actions such as Muster, Trade, or Campaign.
    3. Rest: Recover any expended resources.
  • Citizen and Exile Turns:

    1. Draw cards: Add cards to your cohort as needed.
    2. Actions: Same action types as the Chancellor, including relocation.
    3. Rest: Recover resources in preparation for the next turn.

Winning the Game

  • Achieve victory by maintaining a legitimate claim to the Chancellorship or by completing Vision cards when objectives are met.

Ending the Game

  • The game ends when the Chancellor retains rulership after eight rounds, or an exile/citizen wins through Vision conditions.
