Fencing Controls
Fencing is played on a piste, 14 meters long and between 1.5 to 2 meters wide. Players wear protective gear and use one of three weapons: foil, epee, or sabre. The objective is to score points by making contact on the opponent's target zone. The match begins with a salute and players must adhere to referee signals to start and stop action. Valid touches for foil are made with the tip on the torso, for epee on the whole body, and for sabre with either blade on the upper body.
