Asteroids

Asteroids is a recreation (with a slight twist) of the retro arcade classic 'Asteroids'. This was my first major game prototype built with Godot and was a project to help build my skills and familiarity with using the game engine. For the best gameplay experience, turn your sound on! Additionally, I URGE YOU to play the game by downloading and running the executable from the Windows Build download rather than playing through the web player. (There is a current bug with the latest version of Godot where particles don't render in HTML5 builds, therefore many key special effects that are in the game aren't visible/included in the web version.)
